1, Visual inspection for quality should be conducted on the welds of metal balustrade. The welds should be full and reliable, and spot welding is not acceptable.
2, Specification code, manufacture and installation of cast-in parts should not only comply with the design requirements, but also the following standards:
1), The thickness of force-tacking cast-in steel plates should not be less than 4mm, and width not less than 80mm. The diameter of anchor rods should not be less than 6mm. And at least 4 anchor rods in every cast-in part. The length of anchor rods un embedded parts should not be less than 100mm, and the end of the anchor rod is bent into a hook of 180.
2) The cast-in steel plate of the main rods should not be less than 4mm in thickness and, should not be less than 60mm in width. The embedment of the vertical rod should not be less than the two bolts and, located in the front and behind them. The line connected the two bolts should be vertical to the line connected the neighboring pillars. The diameter of the expansion bolt should not be less than 10mm. The post-positioned embedment should be fixed directly to the concrete construction or the component. For this decorated position, the decorative materials should be cleared before fixing the post-positioned embedment (including the concrete and the cement layer).
3) Carbon steel and cast iron pillar must have anti-rust treatment with 2 coatings each of primer and face paint after cleaning of rust.
